I am currently a postdoctoral scholar at Vanderbilt University's Department of Political Science in the Center for the Study of Democratic Institutions, and I will be starting as an assistant professor at the University of Rochester's Department of Political Science in Summer 2019. I completed my Ph.D. at The University of Chicago's Harris School of Public Policy in 2017.
My research studies the influence of electoral and distributive politics on the policymaking process. Click below to see my published and working papers.
Most recently, I served as an instructor for the math camp for Vanderbilt's incoming political science Ph.D. students. Click below to see my teaching experience.
