I am an assistant professor at the University of Rochester's Department of Political Science and an affiliate with the W. Allen Wallis Institute of Political Economy and the Democracy Center.

I completed my Ph.D. at The University of Chicago's Harris School of Public Policy and a post-doctoral fellowship at Vanderbilt University’s Center for the Study of Democratic Institutions.


My research studies the influence of electoral and distributive politics on the policymaking process. Please click below to see my published and working papers.
